מבחן GMAT מילולי לדוגמה: שאלות Critical Reasoning

בפרק המילולי של מבחן ג׳ימט 36 שאלות (ב 65 דקות). השאלות נחלקות לשלושה סוגים -

  1. תיקון משפטים (sentence correction) - בכל שאלה משפט שחלקו או כולו מודגש בקו. עליכם לבחור מבין חמש אפשרויות התשובה את האפשרות המייצרת את המשפט הטוב ביותר גם מבחינה תחבירית, גם מבחינת ניסוח וגם מבחינת משמעות.

  2. הבנת הנקרא (reading comprehension) - ארבעה טקסטים של הבנת הנקרא באורכים שונים ובנושאים שונים. על כל טקסט 3 - 4 שאלות.

  3. הבנה והסקה (critical reasoning) - משפחת שאלות הבנויות על פסקת טיעון ושאלה לגביה. השאלות יכולות להיות לגבי המסקנה העולה מהפסקה, לגבי הנחה סמויה בפסקה, לגבי טענה נוספת המחזקת או מחלישה את הפסקה, לגבי פרדוקס כלשהו שעולה מהפסקה ועוד.
